Excuse the technologically challenged question coming, but I am hoping there is a simple answer. I have been scrolling through threads for hours and it all seems above my head or I haven't yet found a the correct thread.

I have an Alpha 100 unit that a friend has given to us to update, problem is that he didn't tell us it was a US freq and we are in NZ so the latest update disabled the use of the radio features.

I haven't done anything in the way of curing etc as I have seen several threads of this gone wrong and all of the Perry links and Tramsoft link either dont work now or dont have an Alpha option. All we want to do is roll back the update if possible and give it back to him
