Some devices won't boot if the internal memory is empty, some need at least Garmin folder and some need additional folders such as Voice, Text, Keyboard. An important point that you may be missing is that Cure fw cannot boot, it's sole purpose is to re-enable Mass Storage Mode so that corrupt files can be removed or the proper re-format to FAT32 done using RMPrepUSB. So adding some folders and files that you got from GarminExpress then re-flashing original fw may work.

However, there is another consideration seeing you raised flashing the SG/MY version of fw and it's very IMPORTANT: Are you certain that you have the US/EU nuvi 52 with HWID 1613? Could it be that you have a localized device with a different HWID, just like SG/MY nuvi 42/52 has HWID 1712 for example? It is possible to flash different fw between devices with the same basic hardware (PCB P/Ns must match) however many non-US/EU devices such as Asian versions use different basic files like Voices for instance.

how do i get the HWID? as mine is flashed now?

can you help me to get what files need to be in the nuvi 52? how is the structure? and for the SG GCD did not work. i tried..it only allow the 4.00 GCD.

i did make .system and garmin folder. but still not working
