nuvi 3790T keeps rebooting during navigation

Edit: Overlapping maps covering the same area, enabled at the same time in Nuvi ,can cause problems, better to avoid it.

Thailand Street Map v11 NT 3D Buildings, is the file that cause you reboot problem. Take it out, every thing will go fine.

The newer version of 3D Building file is OK.

All I can say is Bravo for your efforts with this list! it's made fast accurate referencing when tinkering with my unit cos I'm semi dyslexic at the best of times.
I honestly can't recall where I found the list it's been so long...
So,
I'm going to find probably your guide on converting the Nuvi3790T to 34xx firmware,
But first I need to find out first is what files to keep in the nuvi & what files to ditch for this mod as I'm starting from scratch & want to avoid file conflicts if any.

Do you know why the nuvi randomly reboots even when the SDHC card is removed? as that's where the Thailand Street Map v11 NT 3D Buildings.img is in a folder named: Map

Also, additional map check boxes are un-ticked,
The only ones that are ticked are Cneu DEM, CN Europe NTU 2012.30 3D & CN Europe NTU 2012.30 ALL traffic trends Europe 4.25

Do you have free space on your Nuvi Drive ?
Did you try chkdsk yet.? From Dos Prompt
Make Full backup first.

C:\Users\dasilvarsa>chkdsk g: /f ---------- (change g: for your drive letter)

Have you tested the new CNEU 2013.40 map? If the old map has an error in your zone tile ,it can be the cause of these reboots, as BuckyBKatt says in post n6. You both are talking about UK I guess.

UK yes!
I only use Landscape mode, never portrait on the nuvi,
that's not to say there's a genuine glitch in the map as pointed out! Cheers BuckyBKatt

I've not tested the new map,
still wondering if I should replace the old map & extra's all together or test this new one on my SD first!

If I renew I should keep the gmapdem 317,841,408 bytes correct?

gmap3d new is 648,822,784 bytes
gmap3d old is 448,733,184 bytes *thinking this can go!

From memory I need to replace following for new right? SQLite/JCV/GMAP3D/gmapprom

Was going to re-cap & study all the new stuff like SID files first,
as dont wanna make an even bigger balls up hence that list you made I reffered to

dasilvarsa will give chkdsk a shot too, Thankyou

Don't create ckhdsk on nuvi, becouse this command create mess on your nuvi and you have 98% chance that your nuvi after chkdsk wont boot anymore.
Make backup and format with prepusb and your nuvi will work like charm.

Maybe I should of refreshed the page... Any how the nuvi booted ok!
Just tried to over write the old map with new, but have not enough space in the nuvi , deleting languages etc but dont think ile have enough space
