Thank you! I was aware that you may need an external TMC-option if your device doesn't offer it. But doesn't the 40 Plus come with TMC?

But I haven't found a method to detect and use the TMC-device under iGO8!

Actually, TMC DOES work under iGO8. I've been using it for over 10 years by now. To this very day with two different WinCE-devices - Medion and MDA 3.

To quote from the thread you mentioned:
"TMC service does not work on the Primo program. This is not the fault of the program, the TMC server does not work. The Nextgen program must be used, there is no other solution.."

Primo is NOT iGO8.

Medion GoPAL E4450 (WinCE 6). I changed it btw. because Aldi doesn't sell them everywhere.

Well, I'm pretty sure I've been using it for TEN PLUS YEARS - including TMC Pro. Under iGO8. But what do I know...
