Thanks that was in detail. It's not about the MIO but about learning from you because it's fun.
I started doing that weeks ago. Had 3 Navi Navgear GP43 stopped working. In 2 devices I copied IGO8.3.4 software with HERE maps and one equipped with Becker50.
Then I have the devices GIVEN. I just loved the fun.
What do I do with the Mio? I'll read your article in peace and think.

How do I change the surface?
How do I install alternative sat nav SW IGO PRIMO?
I thought this happened with the copied on SD card SW verse 1-4?
Will the new SW be copied to the internal memory?
I have a problem with that. Have new map data with MioMore Desktop7.50 and MioMore website in the device
saved successfully. After switching off and on everything was no longer available. Have synonymous files and folders deleted synonymous, the were OFF and ON again. For me it looks like the internal memory is especially protected for new installations.

Now we have as comparison in Poland for 85Zlty. bought the Navi Mio 6900LM. Here I have seen that there for converted 2.50EUR also SW for the million is sold. Can this file be shown here? Would that be interesting for you. Could that possibly help?
