Unlock mio spirit 6900???

Janch!
It is a big problem. I read to .rar. Zippishare does not work for Germany.
Error 404VPN. With Google Drive or Google One you have to sign up and allow advertising.
The folder is 18MB in size.
Are there other possibilities ?

Ok, leave it than..we should rather focus to your Mio and close the case otherwise we will expand this topic to an epic proportion. You should try solution wich I prepared and than we can move on.

I did the copy today on Spirit 6900.
When copying the folder PRIMO is canceled.
BUILDING could not be created or replaced.

Maybe there is a lack of space on your Mio. Delete old mio maps from \Flash Disk\Navman\MAPS\ (delete everything inside that folder)

You do not have that easy with me.
I deleted the maps from NAVMAN MAPS. In it was DEROTA1500093S.map with 22.1MB and DEROTA1500125S.map with 248.5KB.
New download.
Even then came 5 seconds before the end of downloading the error with BUILDING. I looked at the folder Building from your SW. He is EMPTY. I moved it to my files and did the download again. This time no mistake. Have then separated USB.
OFF switched and ON again.
Nothing happens.
I then looked at the folders and files in the Spirit 6900. ALL folders like POWER BUTTON, SLIDE, PRIMO, PROGS and appstartupsec.ini I had copied into the Spirit 6900 were not there. Switching OFF and ON will probably restore the old state.
The device is not worth this effort. But I thought I had overcome the problem.
It's probably stronger than us.
Could that be a hardware problem as well?

Well, that is indeed something that shouldn't happen in any circumstances on a healthy device. What you copy on a flash disk must stay there by any means. That explains also why there was an issue writing building folder. On a wince devices like Mio, only registry values (if are changed) goes to default state on every boot, but that is not important in this case. I think there is a hardware failure, most likely faulty flash disk..I'm sorry but at this point I'm afraid that I can't help you any further.

as a last resort you can (slow) format entire flash disk and than try again, copy files back and try again. But first you need to make a backup to your PC first.

So slowly I give up. The device is stronger than us. Too bad we do not know the cause. is it really an irreparable problem? or we overlook a tiny detail.
What do you mean by SMART/SLOW FORMATTING?
We do not need to take account of the device.
A backup copy is probably no longer necessary-for what? It's not about the device!

as suggested, your last chance is with formatting device flash disk. You have two options when formatting disks in windows. Default is normal (slow), the second one is quick, see the pic below.

so don't tick "quick format" so that flash disk will be slow formatted which has better effect repairing potential anomalies on a flash disk.

Hello Janch!
I formatted the internal SD flash disk of the Spirit with SD Formatter. See photo. The formatting goes to 99% and each time comes the error message.
This is interesting at the beginning of the formatting of the removable disk L: Mio means. After starting the formatting only removable media

At the end of the formatting with the error message FAILED but then again removable disk L (Mio).
All data on the Spirit are available again. Nothing was deleted. Something prevents the formatting. Can this be in the SW of the manufacturer

I believe the Spirit The Spirit6900 can only be formatted with 1KG TNT

. What is currently on the flash disk in the device is on it forever.
I deleted all files by hand. Then formatted with SD Formatt. Then copied new software. She is then seen. OFF and ON and the old files are all back.
Somehow the flash disk is protected. AS ? Or there is a hardware problem.
I have already copied the content of the Spirit bought in Poland (that works) on the device.
Also this software is not there later. You can not delete, format, copy.

Hardware issue for sure. I'm sorry but there is nothing more we can do.
