A further follow up question about after you flashed QC3: Did you try disconnecting from the PC and re-connecting normally to see if MSM was then re-enabled?

It should have promptly exited preboot and entered MSM itself without a disconnect/reconnect if QC was genuinely successfully flashed, but sometimes that doesn't happen. If you didn't do a manual disconnect/reconnect or can't recall if you did, please flash QC again then report back.

QC works quite differently than tailored device-specific Cure fw so the final 'success' message rather than an error message is not remarkable even if it didn't actually work.

After running QC3, when you disconnect and reconnect the GPS, it is still recognized by Device Manager, but not by Disk Manager, unfortunately.
I have recovered other GPS before, but this one looks complicated.
