    Hello Neil, I'm still at it. Just getting my WinXP set up again. Now I'm connected to the internet, and installing the programs I need. Getting all sorts of messages saying my stuff is outdated (XP is 12 years old and no longer supported by MS!).

    Lol, sorry to force you back to the IT stone age. Truthfully, I loved XP with a passion [other than the 64 bit version, it truly sucked for practical purposes]. Skipped Vista, liked 7 and am now a fully-fledged card-carrying fanatical supporter of Win 8.1. I sometimes boot into XP and 7 for fun to remind me how good 8 really is .... Take your time buddy [you might need it].

    You could just try a direct copy of the data onto the other card, but i doubt it'll work because of the possible block-write protection on the original CF as discussed [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I'm not even sure making a RAW copy will overcome that problem. This is another good free utility if Roadkil's RAW Copy doesn't do the job:
