If you take any eom mapset provide with a goldwing from the factory and put a new key for a different bike in the unl file it will work with the new bike. Again took the oem mapset that came with the bike, changed the key for the new board and put it in the unl file. oem maps now work with the new board. I have all functions with the new board that I had with the original nav board. Therefore I don't beleive that the maps are locked to the card. I think you on a wild goose catch by looking at the card as the problem.

I would like to try a test but some one needs to supply an oem mapset. I say if you take gto49s gmapsupp.img and put it in some one else's bike, change the key to one for the new bike it will work with all functions. After all that is what I have already done.
