Sorry my confusion about your guestion about unit id and hardware Id. For unlocking the maps for the goldwing you need the unit ID from the bike.

If you are using a patched Mapsource as I am than do this. Install the mapset you want to use in mapsource. Get the Unit ID from your bike's gps and the FID from the mapset. Follow the directions in JetMouse to generate an unlock code for your bike. Use the bike's Unit ID in the Unit ID window and the mapset FID in the Select Map Product window using the custom map option.
Unlock the mapset in Mapsource using the unlock codes you generated with JetMouse. Now use Mapsource to transfer the maps to your CF card . That is it.
Only one file, gmapsupp, needs be on the CF card and it will be in a folder called Garmin.

If you have seceded you will see a message loading maps the first time you turn the bike and the map will be unlocked. If the map in still locked check to make sure that maps are unlocked for the bike in Mapsource.

The maps are starting to become too large for the 2gb memory stick so you will have to be a little selective on your maps.

    Hope this helps.

    Things that I have done:
    - downloaded MAPSOURCE to my PC
    - installed maps 2015.3 to pc (I have lifetime map support for my 1690 so I install maps to my pc along with to the 1690)
    - built a new gmapsupp.img file on my CF card
    - ran gmaptool against new gmapsupp.img file, noticed unlocked in several places
    - downloaded gimptools
    - run giminlock.exe against new gmapsupp.img file on CF card (looks like program wrote a new gmapsupp.img file)

So is my next step in this process is run JETMOUSE against the newly created gmapsupp.img file?
