replace "à" by "a" where?

This is very odd, are you using French lang file? The accent characters should be handle correctly. Anyway, you can do what Phildu91 suggested by replacing ALL "à" with "a"
via "The translation to turning prompts should be under \config\config_database.lua"
Note that using French voice config with English voice will definitely makes it incorrectly pronounce "à", make sure you're using correct voice library with correct voice config.

Hi LoaBouha,
Finally I fixed the problem of "a accent aigu"
You go in voice zip file double click on file, double click config, open with not pad +++ config_database.lua and will find parameters={ and change all a accent aigu % with à %, close the file it ask you to save, save it, you will have a message File" config_database.lua was modified, Do you wish to update it in the archive? say yes.
Now you don't have a accent aigu all the 10 seconds.
Good, you fixed the symptom, not the problem. There is still a question of why can't accent characters (French characters) not interpreted correctly on your device?
Hi osiris4isis,
There's a "bug" in both french package "config_database.lua" file. At several places, "á" are used instead of "à" which is problematic since "á" doesn't exist in french, which cause the tts to output comprehensive directions. There is also some place where there's "premiáre" instead of "première", some "deuxi?mes" or "deuxièm" instead of "deuxième".
I tried to fix it my self but the voice zip files are very picky I guess. I tried using WinRAR 3.93 to update the files with no success.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
@Hedrakk Thanks for pointing out the problems. I'm trying to fix it now and will PM you the new french package to test.
Can you also check the French-Canadian package/voice for the "á" bug? 'Cause I would be more interested in the French-Canadian package than the French (France) package... The reason I caught the bug in the French (France) package is that I didn't knew at first that you had posted the files fro French-Canadian... But again, the F-C file links no longer work...
Thanks by the way for the quickness of your answers.
You have to understand, these are done a while back and I no longer have it (or at least can find it) if it's not available from the links posted. Also the links and data were updated before it was lost and revert back to before April 2016 aka "forum crashed." So unless someone still have the "French Canadian" voice file and send it to me, I can't fixed it for that version.
But I believe the translation between variations (French/Canadian, Spanish/Mexican, Portuguese/Brazil, US/UK/Australian, etc...) are the same for the core functions. They probably have minor changes in street naming/references. But then I really haven't look at it in detail. The voice files are not created from scratch, they are taken from Nuance and tweak to made working on various proggy (iGO/Primo/NextGen,etc...) and voice engine (Nuance,VocalizerEx,VocalizerEx2,etc...) and for the "TTS Pro" functions to work.
Can anyone help, I done as arnoldas said, I download few .nvda-add from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], there are twice archives in every language: plus and premiumhigh.
Do I need use the both? I downloaded: english-uk serena / spanish-sp monica / english-sc fiona, plus and premiumhigh, I do not know if I need add both for each language, or just with the premiumhigh will be enough...
Sorry guys, i am completely new with iGO, thanks in advance
