Good, you fixed the symptom, not the problem. There is still a question of why can't accent characters (French characters) not interpreted correctly on your device?

@Hedrakk Thanks for pointing out the problems. I'm trying to fix it now and will PM you the new french package to test.
Can you also check the French-Canadian package/voice for the "á" bug? 'Cause I would be more interested in the French-Canadian package than the French (France) package... The reason I caught the bug in the French (France) package is that I didn't knew at first that you had posted the files fro French-Canadian... But again, the F-C file links no longer work...
Thanks by the way for the quickness of your answers.
You have to understand, these are done a while back and I no longer have it (or at least can find it) if it's not available from the links posted. Also the links and data were updated before it was lost and revert back to before April 2016 aka "forum crashed." So unless someone still have the "French Canadian" voice file and send it to me, I can't fixed it for that version.
But I believe the translation between variations (French/Canadian, Spanish/Mexican, Portuguese/Brazil, US/UK/Australian, etc...) are the same for the core functions. They probably have minor changes in street naming/references. But then I really haven't look at it in detail. The voice files are not created from scratch, they are taken from Nuance and tweak to made working on various proggy (iGO/Primo/NextGen,etc...) and voice engine (Nuance,VocalizerEx,VocalizerEx2,etc...) and for the "TTS Pro" functions to work.
You only need one. Plus is sufficient, Premium-High only gain little in voice quality but if you have the space, why not? You can use some different languages together. Other combos will not work.
The TTS voice config file is what is important. You will have wait for me to re-upload it for you later.

Morning,
I am following tutorial, create a VocalizerEx folder in the igo contents voices folder in internal of phone, but when i get to settings and selecting an actual language after pressing settings icon on right of VocalizerEx tts, i get small box with titled language, but nothing there, blank and cancel button.
I am positive i doing it correctly, am i missing something.
Testing on samsung s7, igo version 9.18.27

VocalizerEx folder doesn't go under iGO/content/voice directory; it goes under root directory of internal card. Instructions are very clear (with example)
1. Put VocalizerEx folder in android root directory
2. Put content folder under iGO
It should look like this
\iGO\content\voice
\VocalizerEx

It was a tad confusing, but sat down and went through it again and all files located where they should "I believe lol"
SERENA is selected in language in settings on phone, but right at bottom i see in Default language status section "English (United kingdom, SERENA) is not supported?
With this will street names for example be spoken like they are with tomtom go and later navcored tomtom models?
reason i ask, if i do a simulation, no street names are spoken.
There is nowhere in igo i can select that Serena voice, just preinstalled voices.
Best wishes and thank you for helping me with your guidance, i really appreciate it
