Thread: Help us help you. What's your Current TomTom Config?

I be a noob and have gotten a little confused lol. I am trying to update my Ease. I have made a backup of my existing device.

Here is my config:

ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom EASE
DeviceVersionHW=EASE
DeviceSerialNumber=XJxxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55274
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
ApplicationVersion=1234792.2
CurrentMap=North_America_2GB
CurrentMapVersion=880.3862

Map(s):
E:\North_America_2GB\

Storage:
Size 1884MB, Free 134MB
TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom EASE
DeviceVersionHW=EASE

Not Found...

So I read a bunch and then downloaded

USA_Canada_960_7079 - was in 9 parts and I reassembled using Total Commander into 1 file, is a .part01 file

This where I am stuck ... I don't know what to do with file ... I realize that I need to copy the file somewhere on my Ease - after a rename ?? - but I have not been able to understand what to do next.

Help !!!

EDIT: So I managed to get a folder but its name is different from the folder on my TT.

on TT: North_America_2GB

new map folder name: USA_Canada_960_9079

I think I will copy and then rename to North_America_2GB and see how it goes.
