Hello to all, I have this app installed on an LG phone with Android 5.1.1 and I was wondering if anyone knows in what folder the maps may be stored on the device? The user manual states that the app will store the maps on either internal or external memory, depending which has more storage space, but I don't see a relevant folder (com.tomtom... or whatever) that seems to contain the maps other than the obb folder.
@Mikeyr,
If you have the users manual to TomTom NDS please post it here.
As for where the files are stored it has been posted here on this forum many times.
Please take the time to read the many posts that are here.
Seeing that you have been here since 2017 you should know this by now.
Just remember none of the map folders can be moved to another smartphone.
They are setup to the phone you downloaded it too.
As for POI's there is enough posted in regards to that too.

@sapere,
Is asking the user to post the PDF file here for others that are new to this app is not being sarcastic?
There are many many user's that do not take the time to read anything nor do they take the time to search for anything.
They post: I can not find any info can some one help.
Not being sarcastic that is fact.
So asking the user to post the PDF file that might help other new user would be very helpful.
Reading it on ones smartphone is not the most ideal way.
Downloading it and posting it here is being part of the user's database to help others.
That is if they take the time to read the manual or anything else posted here.
So have a nice day sapere...........
PS:
Thanks for taking the time to post the link for the manual for others to read I hope.........

I am posting this manual as @asprin624 requested. The TomTom software does provide a link for you to download it, and I did use the link. Just don't try to use the link from a MS Windows machine as for some reason you get an error. Well, at least I did.
As for my issue, after turning my phone off and waiting until the next day, I was able to find the maps folder on my device. It was located on my external SD card in the /Android/data/ folder. I don't know why I didn't see it yesterday, but now it's there. BTW, the folder's name is "com.tomtom.gplay.navapp.nds".
Update: I tried to upload the file to this folder, but I got the following error:
TomTom-Navigation-App-UM-en-gb.pdf: Your file of 2.75 MB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 146.5 KB for this filetype.
However, I've created a RapidGator link to this file. Enjoy and feel free to copy this file to some other file sharing web site if needed.
