    @xanderh,

    You can test very easy with this app:

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Install the app and post screen shots of the info.

    I have contacted tomtom technical support and they have told me it is a known issue and they are working on it.
    They have given me some instructions that I will try.

    Regarding the GPS icon, I have never had it in more than 15 devices that I have had. I suppose it is by country.

    I have to admit this is the first time I've heard this
    Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

    @xanderh,

    TomTom is working on with Google to test Android Auto. (But only TomTom Go)

    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    But there is nothing in the pipeline for working on Head Units.

    TomTom NDS works with Toyota as a link to the Head Unit screen.

    TomTom NDS is not been tested to work on and Head Units.

    Nor will TomTom support Head Units......;

    There are a hand full of users who say they have gotten one or the other TomTom GPS apps to work.

    So TomTom is not going to answer you in regards to the TomTom NDS app because it is not for the EU market.
    It was made for the South American market.

    Put it on a smartphone and be happy it work there.

    Go to the Audio output channel option on Tomtom Go and change the channel to one of the other channels
    I have mine set to "Notification channel" but you can try all of them anyway..
