Android 10 ruined a lot of things compared to the 9. Of course it has its good sides, but ... I mostly repented, twice.
When I saw the limitations 11 brings...I certainly won't install it. But this is my personal opinion.
The update to 11 is here!!!
I don't know what to do.
Update and try something with
Or wait and enjoy... ???

Hi all
I have a samsung s20+ and android 11 on it
And have tomtom mod v 1.9.6.1 on it
And all Are just working fine
Regards
Onslow
At last I update to 11 and the MOd is working !!!
I will test it on route.
I would have to agree with Boki_Srb since my Huawei P30 has been updated to 10.
My setting keep changing. Since the first update of 10 I have had 2 others in less than 30 days to correct 10.
I have not been able to test TomTom MOD on this phone yet.
Until my P30 becomes more stable I will wait.
As for my P20 running Android 9 all is work very well.
Have had no problems with TomTom MOD.
Still testing all the options that have been add to the latest version.
As I pointed out in another post as of yet TomTom is set to run on Android 10 #29 as posted in my screen shot.
Those who rush to update to Android 11 will find out that they will run into problems sooner or later with TomTom MOD or the Original.
Or some of the other apps.
I have a Huawei P20 Pro running Android 10 and, in the short 8 mile run I did, everything worked well. I have also done a simulation of a few routes where things seemed to work as they should. To be fair though I have updates switched off as I find they come to often and for apps that I do not and never will use.
As we are locked down and the police seem to be taking a more strict approach I cannot give it a larger fair trial
Ok, last post about installing TomTom Navigation NDS v.1.9.6.(1)MOD
1 - Car Head Unit, Android 6.0.1 Marshmellow ( Intel Sofia ) : cannot install
2 - Tablet, Android Lollipop 5.0.2 ( Intel ) : cannot install
3 - Smartphone, Android 10, ( Media Tek MT 6762 ) : installation is fine, works fine.
4 - Smartphone, Android Nougat 7.0. ( ARMv7 ) : installation is fine, works fine.
Same results for the latest TomTom Go v 2.3.5 installation from Google Play.
NDS not on Google Play in my region.
The only NDS version I was able to install on device 1 and 2 is TomTom Navigation Nds v1.6.1 using APK armeabi-v7a.
APK arm64-v8a does not install.
But they are very very slow on this devices.
All newer NDS versions, MOD or original, cannot install.

All I can say now is on Android 10 (Oxygen OS 10.3.7 by Oneplus) the latest MOD is working again as a charm! So far all versions of the MOD and NDS have been increasingly good.

I must be missing something. Having had both NDS and GO 1.18.1 side by side on my phone I have to say NDS is inferior in every way (including dreadful routing) compared to GO. The inability to load your own POI files is hopeless. The new maps horrible although it does however have a better POI online lookup.

@ninjabob,
I think some more detail is in order here.
How is it inferior in every way????
That is a very broad statement to make.
As for routing are you doing it online with a data connect?
How are you using the app? (Car, Truck)
Have you gone over all the new setting that have been posted here in regards to the latest version.
Please explain what is wrong with the routing?
Plus I do recall you are using it on an Android 11 phone which it has not been setup for yet......
Spoiler: Your post
Also add a couple of screen shots of what you think is inferior in every way.......
