@tonw,

You need to check what other apps are running in the background.
How many other GPS apps are installed?
Did you do a lot of map downloads to the app?
Just trouble shoot what would make it run very warm.
Sometimes just shutting down your phone once every week or so will clear lots of problems.

I setup one phone and downloaded 6 countries while on external power and it did get warm.

But after that all ran normal.

There are no apps running in the background, i always closed them.
I only have installed this one.
I have just download Beligie, Netherland and Germany.
Iàm always shut my phone down when i load it up.

Have you used the Mod version before?
Did you have problems then?
Have you tried the normal version of TomTom with out MOD?
Did you have problems with that version?

Does it run hot all the time?
OR
Is this something new that is going on?
OR
Only when downloading maps?
OR
When you are using it on the road?

Is it installed on the memory of the phone or SD CARD?

Is there enough room on the SD Card?

Have you removed it and done a new clean install?

Details, Details, Details this goes for everyone have problems.........

As none of us know all things you have done or not done it is hard to know what your problems are.

99.9 % of the user have no problems it that OO.1% that do for one reason or another have problems.

Before i run tomtom go 1.18.1 and thats was oke. Nou i use the mod versie on my intern memory. So i think i go back too that one, and wait a while until there is a new one.
I only want to mention it.

Have now tested NDS for several days now, and must say that it runs flawlessly.
So "ThumsUp" for the great work with this MOD version.

Is up, but traffic isn't visible, phone is a OnePlus 6
Works well with no modded TT NDS. Anyone have a solution?

I'm aware that this is somehow confusing.
Please go to Settings/Map&Display/Show on map/ Traffic flow visibility and turn it off. After that you will see the traffic on the map.

After using the normal version i started over with the mod version it feels like a huge upgrade there is still one thing that seems broken the speed indicator at the bottom (center) only shows the maximum speed the gps speed does not show.
First i thougt that it was my android radio but i tested it on a samsung galaxy J5 that shows the same, is this not functioning properly in this version or is there a setting witch is set wrong.

The tt manual does not say anything about this.
