    NDS updating perfect, small fast updates.

    Today I was offered a map update and installed it. But that has nothing to do with the problem of user coukou.
    coukou, I asked you, did you install the app on Android 10, and then updated it to Android 11?
    That would explain the problem

    Mister asprin624, why are you telling us about the NDS app. This is about Go 1.18.1
    You always complain about other people yourself (when discussing other apps)

    @Golom,

    It was about getting notification and checking setting on your phone.
    Be it this app or the other he had problems and it is now working.

    Plus it was not a complain but to check with the user.

    YES, I've installed this app on Android 10 and updated WE map till 1050.10190 without problem. Since February this year, Samsung offer a system update... So, since February I've Android 11. I discover that Andoid 11 android/data folder access denied. Especially SD-card/android/data/ ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). As all my TT maps as well as Sygic maps are in SD-card, TT cannot update the maps, neither can Sygic.
    On the other hand, my wife who has an A51 (android 10) and uses the same applications as me with the same application configuration can update both TT and Sygic maps.

    For Sygic, I took out the sd-card and copied my wife's A51 maps. Can I do the same for the TT maps?

    The only solution is to remove the sd card before installation
    This is recommended by TomTom Support

    I believe there is a misunderstanding.
    This TomTom Navigatore GPS - Traffico e Autovelox v1.18.01 app has already been installed with the Western Europe map on the SD-card of my S20 Ultra for over a year and I have made some updates to the map without problem. Since upgrading to Android 11, I can no longer update the map (SD-card). In addition, I cannot remove my SD-card because several apps are installed on it and my S20 will not work properly.

    No misunderstanding from me
    Delete the app , remove the sd card and install in internal storage . The same for your Sygic app .
    128 GB seems to be enough space for me
    Save your films and photos on the sd card
    This is the only solution I know

    So that there is no misunderstanding:
    After the installation you can of course insert the SD card again

    Although the maps are still in SD-Card, I launch TomTom maps update... IT WORKS I got WE 1065-10704 installed.
    BTW, could update sygic maps too

    Today I noticed my tomtom app (v.1.18.01) stops working after planning a route and Voice telling me 'you will arrive at your destination at......'.
    I do have a Samsung S20, android 11 and latest July update.
    I deleted everything and followed the procedure to reinstall it again. During installation (after installing google from playstore) I noticed I was not able to find .obb file.
    Anyone having same kind of issues?

    I found out that all TomTom apps are giving the same issue!
