BaseCamp and MapInstall universal patcher

Unable to run the patched MapInstall:
When I try to run install an img file (whether by invoking MapInstall from the patched BaseCamp menu, or running MapInstall stand alone) I get the message:
"No unlocked maps were found for this device."

Could someone walk me through or point to a tutorial, please (I searched for a tutorial but found none).

No need tutorials, install Basecamp and run the patcher by haute from post n1. It works fine.

That's just what I did.
Still, MapInstall informs: "No unlocked maps were found for this device."

Which maps have you installed and how did you unlock them? Are they unlocked in Mapsource and in Basecamp?

The map in question is Europe NT 2013.40. It is unlocked both in MapSource and BaseCamp.
And, Basecamp & MapInstall were unlocked using the Universal Patcher v1.0.

P.S.
I don't necessarily need MapInstall to load the map. I have no problem loading it manually. Just thought that I'll give MapInstall a try.

I have NTU map and when I open Mapinstall 4.0.3

it works fine and offers to transfer selected tiles to any drive like it should, np with other maps too.
Which Mapinstall version do you have?
