It's true, but I'm not able to create/modify programs and I have to stick to their results.

I precise this bug because the result is a full transparent image on dview when it's a 32 bits bmp created with photoshop ...
I had no need to create 32-bit bmp images with Photoshop to use iPAQ, when I get the same result with a 24 bit bmp image or with a png image.

Image 130x4160 pixel in bmp 24 bit with black background 0,0,0 = 1,55 Mb converted with iPAQ = image bmp/rle of 410 kb
Image 130x4160 pixel in png with black background 0,0,0 = 448 kb converted with iPAQ = image bmp/rle of 410 kb (equal)
Image 130x4160 pixel in png with transparent background = 480 kb converted with iPAQ = image bmp/rle of 476 kb (bigger)

Ipaq remove the alpha on pixels not black ... I do not understand why, and so you have said that ipaq add alpha on black pixels ... an another mystery
And I'll tell you more, if inside the icons there are some black parts 0,0,0 are turned into transparent too and you will see "holes", I have to change them to black 5.5.5.

All of that to say I want to fix all bugs but for that I don't think it's my fault
And my full black 0,0,0 is a full black 0,0,0 and nothing change that.
I have only used your program in the same way that I use iPAQ obtaining different results....... I'm not able to determine where the bug is.
When one knows how it works that thing adjusts accordingly, I only need to get files as small as possible. I will certainly try your new version these days.

Regarding the svg files, I have Illustrator and I see them with it and I can even edit them, especially in complex svg files like ico_speedcam, with the other programs you only see the image at the top of the list.

    Hello...

My friend LouBouha the program has no problem about "svg"

which program is default is a function of windows...
probably you lost the settings after the update.

can you make it default again:

First of all place dview folder in a place thats not change [c:\program files\dview] and make a shortcut to your desktop.
Then right click on a svg and select "open with" select "Dview" and tick "open always with this program"

    that's all....

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all

    Hi Modemakias

    Thank you for your proposition.

I tried all that, without result. proof that the old version was functional at 100% with the update it blocks.

With version 64 it seems functional but I do not have the adequate exploration system.( by selecting Dview64.exe the icons of the svg files change but not by selecting Dview.exe the icons do not change and I have the one of internet explorer ??? )

    Regards.

the problem seems if remove or rename one of the two .exe like (Dview64.exe000)
but in this case i don't know if the two .exe is full independently...

I have no problem with associations ... I've changed nothing on this thing.

The function is this horrific code => [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Very not easy to integrate with windows without admin permissions ^^
It's not a portable function ... to create it automatically the software needs an installer.

It's not possible to associate the 64 bits and the 32 bits version, one replace the other.
The full path name can't be modified after associations.
If an association is broken you need to remove the association and re-add it with the dview dialog.

After I don't know really more, I will try more tests.

    @BIRBANTE
I use photoshop and illustrator too since a long long time (cs5, cs6, cc2014/2015/2016/2017/2018/2019) ... it's not my fault if photoshop refuse to export a bmp 32 bits argb when you convert an image from an other format :x

I updated the version with your language file

    1.1.3:
    - Added polish language
    - Fixed the translator name in the about menu, now the "Language-Team" field from the po header is used
    - Fixed the problem to change the language of the interface

    1.1.2:
    - Fixed a problem to convert png 64 bits to 16 bits
    - On a conversion of a 32 bits bmp to lower bits now the alpha mask is replaced by a white mask
    - Added a counter and a cancel button on the progress dialog of the batch conversion
    - Now you can add archives and folders to the batch conversion by a drag'n drop from the internal file tree to the batch dialog
