    Yip,

    Some peoples on my board asked me to get a portable version of iPAQ and so I tried to make a thing for that and DView is born
    It's a simple pictures vizualiser/convertiser with full support for iGO bmp.

    I share executables for windows x86 and x64 but you can compile it on linux.
    It's the first version.

    Thanks all guys which helped me to create this and for others enjoy it

    It's a software full open source in c/c++ licence GNU/GPL:

    This software has the advantage of being portable, but not only since it allows to view .bmp and .svg files

    Good replacement for buggy iPAQ 31x (with annoying backward directory scrolling effect). Drag&Drop capability is nice. Proggy is fast (except when scanning large directory) but there is a bug.
    1. Load image larger than window
    2. Zoom 100%
    3. Click on scrollbar, it won't scroll (or does last command). Click on it again, it will work.

    This thread should be sticky.

    Djeman, Congratulations!

    The language file should be as it was done in the "igoview" program, that is, you have the option to translate to your own language.

    @yesigo

    Not my fault the taiwan localisation is not supported by windows but the chinese-taiwan localisation is supported so you need to change tw code by zh_TW (folder and po header).
    I updated my software (rc3) to show the complete country code and I added "OK" in the translation

    moooo

    @varelo

    If you want to make a translation you have the po file in the source zip and all sources too.
    With one of this 2 things you can create a new mo file with poedit => [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    To add the result in the software you need only to create a folder with the country code as name and the mo file inside needs to have the name of the app so DView.mo.

    Truly a great job......

    Because I change all the icons in the speedcam.zip files, iPAQ could not handle icons with "many colors" for the xhdpi folder icons, or worse for the xxhdpi folder icons, it takes a lot of time in the conversion or even crashes.
    I did the test with a speedwarn0.bmp icon of 140x4480, that iPAQ had failed to convert, and it converted that in 3 seconds.

    Thanks for the work you've done, now there are no more limits for the size, (for the bmp icons of the speedcams), and for their quantity and quality of the colors.

    Thanks, but there are some limits on the bitmap format.

    There is 2 limits, the number of palettes and only one palette can be used on a line.
    If a limit is reached a color quantizer 16 bits (based on the xiaolin wu algorithm) can be used.
