You must try a different junctionview.zip plugin.
Old remove and add it and check it.

Thnx, but problem persists, cleared cache, restarted to no avail..

Tried it, not working, any ideas?

And on an "incomplete screen" [portrait], the signs are readable?

In UX folder > enhanced_junctionview.zip > ui_nextgen folder > common folder > ui folder

Check your "fonts" folder, "sign_as_real" and "junctionview" files.

You are wellcome to try and test your UNREADABLE ROADS SIGNS with the attached zip.

NOTE:
If that does not work, do not despair!
Try to find a "European enhanced_junctionview" file with exactly matching fonts, than the file attached here.

?? test: delete all Lang.zip , only your one Lang in Folder/Content.

** the problem has come up many times (but a long time ago in a DE forum), but IMO has nothing to do with skin

Something you messed up
Maybe different editions of the skin, maybe wrong fitted package, maybe fonts, maybe phoeneme files or addons, maybe...

I have seen this error shown by vuurvlinder in forums in Brazil and it is not related to Lang's files.
I may be mistaken but I think (I'm not sure) that it has to do with the screen resolution.
Review the [rawdisplay] parameters in the sys.txt file.

@gabinov; test once a iGO-Nextgen with default Skin and without a SYS.txt; Result ??

on a clean System/OS or was another iGO installed before?
? have you installed the CCleaner once and cleaned the System?

Edit:
it is unimportant which Nextgen is used, the data.zip is also often identical. the basic settings for GPS always remain the same
