Or use save routes then only reorder the points/destination
Make a route, save route, at comeback load route change destination all multi points remain
Ex i have route saved from porto portugal to jonkonping sweden with manny points When i return from swede to porto portugal i load route and change only destination ,and optimize route if its neccesary, require some amount of attention
Of course a ux go to start its more simple solution but where its satisfaction to do someting

as already wrote @cristianyxtl:
the Route and its waypoints are saved before Navigation.
At the end, call up this Route and edit the Waypoints to the starting point in the [More/Arrow up] menu and move them up or down.

Just as there are many UXs that provide an instant solution with one click and make navigating life easy, a forum member is looking for the easiest and fastest way to turn back the route he has navigated, without saving and without 2nd/3rd way or another actions.
No contradictory claim can justify such a UX disqualification.

Dear @rondoan friend - Not aimed at you at all.
This is my general opinion to my mind and by a broad definition.

Still, there is no UX that performs "RETURN & NAVIGATE TO START" with no edit and no move arrow but with just one simple click.

But if he wants to wait until someone ux creates one, then he has to stop in - maybe - Portugal and wait for this ux; until then he had moved many waypoints in the menu

Dear friends we all look for ways to make our life easier ,if only 1 person need a thing, then that thing will help others But also we must try to evolve without tech

( Over speed voice warning doesn't work )
only ding as warning no voice i tried many thing's with no use
