    I was replying to you by telling you to try this SD version[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    but then I realized that you are confusing (too much) and the fault may not be all of the device.

    In sys.txt:
    [folders]
    data_folder_name="iGO"
    Linked root_root_list="/storage/sdcard0 /storage/sdcard1 /storage/sdcard2 /mnt/sdcard1 /mnt/sdcard2 / etc...
    The "original" line is:

    linked_root_list="/storage/emulated/0 etc

    lowercase and with only one root, and as icing on the cake, the sys you added is not from Israel but from Luna .......

    Thank you for replying.
    The linked_root_root thing was my typo, sorry for that.
    In the sys.txt file I added it is written correct. You are also right about the Luna sys.

    I just didn't understand why iGO won't start anymore after inserting an sdcard only for extra memory. What I can see in Total Commander is that the device seems to switch internal and external memory. I added some more in the linked root list, because in TC I can see different names for the internal and external memory in the root folder, the storage folder and the mnt folder.
    Finally success! iGO starts from internal with an sdcard inserted! Hallelujah.

    Ok, thanks to all the help found here on the forum I managed to move the map folder etc to the sdcard.
    Still some minor issues. When I start iGO I see :"Download pauzed 0MB. And once more:"Missing or incomplete folder:"/mnt/sdcard2/iGO/licence.zip:/mnt/sdcard2/iGO/licence.zip:open failed:EACCES (Permission denied)...But I can click on ok and iGO starts installing? (that's what's on the screen while loading.) Every time I start iGO it says installing. Beats me.

    What is now considered as SD card is the "old" internal memory, of 8 GB usable will only be 4.5, while the former SD (now internal memory) I hope it has at least 8 or 16 GB (or even 32) so I don't see the need to move any type of file from the iGO folder.

    That's exactly what I see.
    Thank you.
    I have to say that I use this (old) phone only for iGO. I deleted or switched off all necessary apps.
    In Total Commander I see:
    /storage/sdcard0 (empty external sdcard): 3.6/3.6 GB.
    /storage/sdcard1 (internal phone memory): 1000.3 MB/4.8 GB

    With a small sdcard 4 GB inserted (I also have a 16 GB if neccesary. Only for my holidays now I have put maps etc of Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal on the device.

    I wrote a more extended reply post with screenshots etc, but it is on hold for now. (moderator?)
