Can any of you Italians help me? I'll explain my problem: I have a pretty good 2 din stereo on which I installed igo world and the latest Pongo skin but the tts voice doesn't work for me and I discovered that if I delete the pongo sys this works for me (even if it doesn't I tried if it works with speed cameras), the problem is that I need that sys inside the directory because I'm going to change the dpi otherwise without it you see everything very small. help me to solve

Why Italians? Besides, your request is in the wrong topic/section.
    Edit:
    moved ...

You can use any sys file that comes with any world package.
Also, if you install an apk without a sys file in the base folder, it will create a generic one by itself...
And finally, you can modify the existing one yourself or create a new sys file, which will contain only the section related to dpi parameters.

Otherwise, if TTS does not work for you because of the sys file, it means that they made a mistake in the basic setup.
Because, TTS has nothing to do with the parameters in it, it only depends on engine and lang/voice files.
Wrong path(s), wrong folder(s) naming, wrong location, etc. If I remember correctly, you have made such mistakes before.

Sorry Boki I asked the Italians just to get the right files and help from them. Furthermore, I used all the files from the latest Pongo skin (data.zip, sys, ux, etc.) which only works if you delete the sys.txt file and then it doesn't create one for me automatically or at least I can't find it in the iGO_World directory after deleting Pongo's.

What is exact path, exact folder naming, etc... internal memory?
    Basic directives/rules are here
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
skin application rules are provided with the Pongo installation/theme ...

Did you follow the rules absolutely correctly and precisely? I remember you once named the base folder igo_warld or similar

but if I have everything assembled wrong why does everything work without the sys.txt file? then if instead of the tts voice in igo settings I put a classic voice (no tts) everything works even with the Pongo sys file present, the problem arises with the tts voice set.

Not all, one parameter/setting is enough ...
For example, this is in Pongo skin sys
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] package don't have sys, it is generated by apk during install

Anyway, you have suggested solutions in (first half of) post #542, and you can search for the error itself slowly in the next time

    [OT]
    SYS-[folders]
    + ====== +
This is how I have learned and executed it so far:
iGO always searches for content folders in the data folder (iGO_xxxx)
    * iGO only needs the [Folders] specification if content is to be outsourced.
    -------------
For example, you can install 3 different iGO_xxxx, but only refer to a single content folder within a data folder by specifying in the SYS.
    ---------
if the content is complete with all files within the data folder, then iGO ignores the paths specified in the SYS.

often installed and tested with Pongo skin and default skin - his iGO 8.3x...
    +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
of course not possible with Map/ under v.9.35 and iGO-Nextgen on one device 😉

Randoan I didn't understand much of what you wrote but now I will test with what Boki wrote to me i.e. I reinstall again but without putting the Pongo sys file I reinstall the apk and if I see the sys file it is created automatically I'm going to change the dpi inside them with the hope that the tts item works.

Thanks to you Boki I did as I wrote about and it worked. In the sys created in the dpi I put 320 and now it looks pretty big but when it comes to the tts voice you can hear it now but I have to intervene in the android settings and in audio I have to raise the audio media, so now I think it's a problem with my headunit uis 7862 and in any case after doing this, sometimes the tts voice starts late and sometimes the first word is not heard. Anyway thanks for the tips Boki.

I have been using various versions of IGO navigation on android phones for 12 years and now, for the first time, on android 12 (Poco M4 PRO) I cannot find the appropriate version of the IGO (Nextgen) application. Until the other day I was using Igo Nextgen on a Nokia 2.4 running Android 11 and everything was working flawlessly. When I copied the folder to my new phone, and when I bave tried to install it, I get a message that global_cfg is missing, or certain licenses are missing, or some other problem exists. Which version do you recommend for me to use on this android 12 with MIUI global 13.0.1? Thanks
