    Car Inquiry Regarding Inactive Map Files in iGO

    Hello forum members,

    Recently, I encountered an issue while using different iGO applications, and I need your assistance to resolve it.

    The Issue:
    I obtained updated map files and placed them in the maps folder within the navigation system's SD card.
    However, when I launched the navigation system, I noticed that the map files appear in the maps section but are displayed in red with the message "Inactive Content."

    Notes:
    I have used the same map files with other iGO versions (e.g., Basar), and the files appeared active and worked fine.
    I checked the sys.txt file and ensured that the path points to the correct folder where the map files are located.
    Questions:
    Why are these files marked as inactive?
    Could there be an issue with the license or specific app settings?
    Is there a way to activate these maps?
    I would appreciate it if anyone with experience or knowledge about this could help me. Thank you in advance for your time and support!

    Probably your license folder is incomplete... but perhaps because iGO 9.35.2.226744 is a new apk *

    * This happens on which phone with which Andoid version ?

    Hi @AEO

    The maps are red because are not recognised by license you have installed in that unit.
    As I belive you installed these maps in a unit which use TomTom most probability.
    It is R-Link 2 the unit which we discuss or something else?

    The brand of the device, or the model, does not matter. Even when the software is branded for a specific manufacturer
    It is Android based device, Android based software, its the same rules as for every iGO and the new member asks questions that have been relevant for decades
    Which means that he didn't even bother to read anything on our Forum
    And even if it was for WinCE or iOS, the situation would be even worse, because licenses literally do not exist

    Content is always red (inactive) when licenses are missing or licenses do not cover it

    The new generation of NG software (9.35.nnn) is not and will not be completely cracked soon (maybe never although we all hope), licenses cannot be found especially not ones that cover anything other than the WE region
