thank you for answer. File manager 'Cx File Manager' I use does not show 'root' of the device.

Do I understand you correctly that 'iGo_World' folder should be put into '/' and not '/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.nng.igo.primong.igoworld' (Cx File Manager - Android/data/com.nng.igo.primong.igoworld)?

Please clarify what directory I should put 'iGo_World' into.

I just watched a video where author uses 'Total commander' file manager which give direct access to file system -- with this file manager I should be able to move folders around at 'where I wish the folder go'.

Put complete iGO folder in root of internal memory, with just one map and needed system files. Nothing more.

Could you clarify what 'needed system files' should be copied? And where the files can be 'copied' from?

After installation of apk file an empty folder 'Android/data/com.nng.igo.primong.igoworld/files' was created -- it is empty. Same folder created in SD card, the folder is empty as well.

Ok, I have followed your advice and with help of 'Total Commander' created a folder '/mnt/sdcard/iGo_World. Then I created inside it following folders 'building,dem,map,poi,global_cfg'. Inside of map folder I placed Basemap_NNG_2012.03_170825.fbl file.

Now I see that after an attempt to run application a number of folder and files was created in '/mnt/sdcard/iGo_World' folder including 'licence'.

Now my issue is that I see a black screen. I have read some posts before, in one of them they recommended to create 'iGo_World/ux' folder and place 'for_S8.zip' file there. I tried but on next run the screen came up completely black.

well it is installed and running. But some features is not accessible or reported 'partially compatible' -- mostly related to 'maps/poi'.

I wonder how this issue can be fixed -- I am looking for working maps 'North America' (priority is Canada).

It would be great if 'Russian' voice can be activated for TTS.

TTS - in principle has to do with the release of NextGen, you must set up the phone/system and find proper lang/voice files. Browse TTS NG section.

General error poi (Canada.poi) - there is a high possibility that the file is damaged. Bad download or bad file on server - result is the same.

It is not recommended to mix contents of different editions. Files that are more or less independent (buildings) can be used in different editions. But files which are closely related with fbl - hnr, fjw, ftr etc, all in map folder, must be same edition.

You need to find proper Canada's maps/content by yourself. Generally, this is a European forum, NNG is mostly EU oriented, people from here exchange and share files.
The content of other parts of the world we get a very few.
