thank you lolypop000, I found my mistake . I wrote JVC instead of JCV.
It is working now. Thanks alot
By the way , is there away to add the speed limit for the areas that are not shown in the map.
I can get the speed limit for the highways in my city not in the local roads

Not possible yet, i wrote to Garmin developer team if he can add this future on all nuvi not only in 2xxx and 3xxx.
Whei i get mail from him i let you know.

guys mine is 1355, got it from china and the part is B1182. is there anyway i can have jcv for this too?

@ lolypop000, this gupdate.gcd is it found inside the garmin folder which is the same name as garmindevice.xml?

i manage to download and unzip the folder and when i click on the updater and selected usb, it says it cannot find the gps and states "there is no gps available"..

Install usb drivers from garmin site and then go in hidden menu over battery icon and flash.

@ lolypop000, i cannot find my gupdate.gcd inside my .system folder.

anyway i manage to update the firmware from the updater, but the jcv still cannot be seen.

if i miss something do share with me.

Do you have folder JCV in your .System folder?
Do you download map an JCV from the same release?

JCV is show only on Highway,so create route simulation on highway.

i already put 3 different types of map that has jcv and when the jcv comes on the right hand side of the screen, a message will put "this model does not support jcv features"

I forgot to say i tested 3 maps 1 by 1 and all cannot view jcv
