Do you have folder JCV in your .System folder?
Do you download map an JCV from the same release?

JCV is show only on Highway,so create route simulation on highway.

i already put 3 different types of map that has jcv and when the jcv comes on the right hand side of the screen, a message will put "this model does not support jcv features"

I forgot to say i tested 3 maps 1 by 1 and all cannot view jcv

supertep: This post by you seems to indicate that maybe you are in Singapore or Malaysia: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

Loly, have you modded his China 1355 for JVC with original fw and it is then being used in Singapore/Malaysia? If so, as you'd know like any other Asian unit it is incapable of reading those particular encrypted JCV files only China's and the unencrypted US/EU type.

supertep: Does the inventory read correctly for modded splash, and do the greyed out words 'Junction View' show between the 'return' and 'up' arrows on the route preview? Press the 'route guidance arrow' button on the map screen to preview an active route, either actual or simulated.

CN fw cannot understand SG/MY jcv files, only the local fw can do that.

SG/MY will see CN/TN jcvs though i think. The Asian jcv files are encrypted differently to each other. The Asian fw's are generally cross-flashable between equivalent Asian models to enable jcv.

SG/MY seems the most versatile fw at seeing other asian jcvs but none of the other fw will see sg/my jcvs, afaik, or for that matter any of the other asian ones. US/EU units have a crash & reboot error trying to show any asian jcvs.

The only way to see local jcv is to flash 1350 SG/MY fw to your 1355 CH. Maybe there are hardware differences, 1355 is not sold in SG/MY. Flash local fw at your own risk and only after making sure your unit is compatible. Unless you are experienced, seek lolypop000's or some other expert's advice first.

SgMy firmware used to be the magical one to see other jcv but not now.
There are US firmware (37xx / 34xx) that will not crash when try to see Asian jcv(nothing happens as no jcv file)

Thanks aekhong, i was only referring to the 13x0 US/EU units on crash & reboot error.

I'm not up with that, i thought SG/MY 1xxx fw would still see CH & TN jcvs.

Is it safe for him to flash SG/MY 1350 fw to his CH 1355?
