So let me get this straight even if you could turn off recalculate which you can not.

Your telling me that if you take a road to soon or to late you are going to keep driving on it away from your route because it does recalculate which it will.
That makes no sense at all.

Is it not easier to see you made a wrong turn and drive back to your route you planned to take.

Or do you just keep driving down the wrong road anyway.....?????

You would know right away you made a wrong turn if you look on your screen or does it take you longer to understand that after you hear recalculating you made a mistake????

I have been using GPS's for a very long time and they have always done the correct thing.
If I make a mistake and take the wrong exit I just double back or stay on the new route and it does get me to my destination anyway or it tells me to make a u turn when possible.

But all and all what good is not recalculating when you make a mistake?? It tells you 2 things stay on this route or turn around and pick up you route you wanted to take before you make the mistake....
