    Thank you Butters

After your answer i sence a lot of risk and work, and i do not have the complete knowledge to do a big change like this, also with the possibility to brick the device. i thoug it could be easy, like for example "entering deeply in the system configuration and enable/disable the option".

but yes! thank you for your help and explanation which was very good!

    best regards

Wouldn't it be nice, to have simple functions like turn recalc OFF on a device? Don't think it is all that easy on a Zumo, either! I've battled with my 396 many times. Found that you have to set up everything for automobile, or at the slightest divergence it will pick its own routes. Ah, the days of the StreetPilot 2730, 2720, 2820, which did what you asked. Just runs out of memory for the new maps, is slow, and doesn't have Bluetooth. It did have hardwire for external audio, which with the 396 you have to use a Bluetooth receiver to feed your bike's audio system (in my case an '06 GL1800).

    Exactly pidjones

If you have a Zumo, maybe you can get some good info with this video. It explains very good the process of creating and sending Routes to Zumo device, and also give some info about the recalculating.

hope it help you in something:
