Japan Software does not have "real" Truck Mode.
The Truck mode in Japan Software only keeps you away from residential areas. You cannot input truck width, length or anything else.
The reason you cannot flash is because you are trying to flash 5.90 over 5.90 using the Gupdate.gdc method. If the version is the same the nuvi won't flash.
You can do 2 things.
1 Use Updater.exe pre-boot mode to flash RGN file. or
2 Downgrade your nuvi to 5.8 first and then Flash your custom file.
REMEMBER THAT YOU CAN BRICK NUVI BY FLASHING CUSTOM FIRMWARES, Do at your own risk !!!!!
