It is not matter in glx that is only for a menu interpretation.
Probably you need 006-D4511-01.bin file for correct map reading in Chinese.
Make a folder Font as shown in the first post and put 006-D4511-01.bin to here:

I downloaded the bin file and put it in Font (or Fonts) folder, but no joy. The map still did not show Chinese street names.
Appreciate your help and time.

This file 006-D4511-01.bin should be placed in the .system/ExtData folder to display Chinese characters normally!
