What could one do to display Garmin original maps in Chinese street name as Mr. voodoo demonstrated in post #123 that is possible?
I've tried putting Chinese glx gtt files in Text folder, unicode font in Fonts folder. All comibations I could think of, still no avail.
Anyone could help? thank you.

It is not matter in glx that is only for a menu interpretation.
Probably you need 006-D4511-01.bin file for correct map reading in Chinese.
Make a folder Font as shown in the first post and put 006-D4511-01.bin to here:

I downloaded the bin file and put it in Font (or Fonts) folder, but no joy. The map still did not show Chinese street names.
Appreciate your help and time.

This file 006-D4511-01.bin should be placed in the .system/ExtData folder to display Chinese characters normally!

Hi
I have installed hydra.apk on car head unit running android 10, but I am having two issues with this app.
1-Arabic keyboard can not be selected, I did some of the suggestion in this post to rename these files (ar_SA.kbd) to (en_US.kbd), but it did not worked, the keyboard remained in English language.
2-Setting is not saved, it always revert to default.
your help is greatly appreciated
