Garmin Street Pilot v.2.33 Android 4.4.x

unexpected end of package

package is broken, can not unrar it.

I downloaded other one but can't install apk on tablet, why that happends?

I downloaded both files and for me they are ok, both unrared fine.
Try to use a download manager or Chrome.

Garmin Street Pilot v.2.33 Android 4.4.x
I also have problems only half the picture works HTC HD2 Android version 4.4.2 and 4.4.4 Nexus
I do not know how to solve this problem but I have tried everything without success Maybe someone can help thank you.

I already did this.

It's not freezed, tap on the arrow up until Unites States show up.
It is emptym because your Garmin doesn't have the "ExtData" folder with the required xxx.bin files to display Chinese, Korean, etc.

As you can see in my post all the files are in "ExtData".

As usual you can put Garmindevice.xml in a Garmin folder in sd and run Webupdater to download voices, text,help, font binary data, keyboards,text, themes etc

I did this but the files provided by Orak in post #83 are the same or at least not less than the downloaded.

You cannot install Streetpilot on your mobile if you have ART (Android RunTime) selected. Only when you Dalvik selected, the installation is fine.
You can also not switch back after the installation to ART, StreetPilot crash

I am using Dalvik.

Any ideas ?

I was lucky and baghdadvaio aka ORAK helped me solve the issue.... I deleted everything and used his apk and his folder structure. Now everything works. Go few posts backwards to baghdadvaio's posts.

I talked with ORAK and the path to my external card is /storage/sdcard1, but not /storage/extSdCard. This was the reason why I am receiving the empty locale window. So now I am searching for an apk for rooted 4.4.4 with /storage/sdcard1.

same here...

if windows is not black , is white... lololol

i think problem is libgarminos.so because i trie whit different versions and result is black or white windows..

in galaxy nexus i9250 cpu ti and 4.4.4 cm11..

any idea to fix that?

The problem with the black screen was that I was not storing the Garmin folder under /storage/sdcard1/Garmin but under Android\data\com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext\files\Garmin. It seems that the latter is needed only for the ORAK's APK.

The bad is that street pilot is very laggy. Most probably ORAK's distributions is better ?

Could you please provide an APK for /storage/sdcard1?
