I have a SGS3 non rooted and installed file 2.16 mntextSdCard no root and it Works perfectly... I even installed the brazilian portuguese text and voice, maps, etc... the only modification I made was to create a map folder inside Garmin and transfered all maps there incluiding gmapbmap, gmatz, gmapdem, gmapprom and alternative maps for brazil... I haven`t tested the junction view because the JVC file for CNSouth América 2014.10 isn`t out yet.
Just one question is there a User Guide for this StreetPilot... is it the same as the one for Iphone or Windows Phone... if so can anyone post it here or send me a location where I can download it?
I don't know why but in Brazilian Portuguese, the question mark for help files doesn`t work. I changed to American english and it came back on, but help files aren`t complete. For example in Navigation, it doesn`t explain what Highway mode does?
I'm trying to use JCV with brazil map but it opens a window, but no Junction View Picture appears... I just read your post regarding Highway mode and I`ll try it... I'm using the JCV for nuvi 2580... do you know if it's compatible?
As there is no explanation on the Help File, can you inform what Highway mode does with navigation?
Thks and Regards
Highway mode is a little gray window that appears on SP map displaying when driving on an highway :it shows next exits in your route.
This Street Pilot is a ported application that doesn't exist on Android, it exists for Asus padphone only, so we cant expect it work perfectly on other phonesNo manuals are available. Test and see lol
Regarding JCV read in first posts about tests I made and use small resolution JCV, I used Nuvi 50 one and it works, High Res JCV doesn't shows.
You have to navigate to get to the good.
