streetpilot 2.16 no root version...works smooth with my samsung note n7000 android JB 4.1.2...gps simulation works perfect...the problem are
1) why .System folder disappeared from garmin folder
2)do not show POI's and I can not find any POI's to search
3)no option for pedestrian walk navigation
....is it because I didn't put libgarminos and libgmxt files to my sdcard/ext-sdcard during installation????
thanks

I cant understand what do you mean, if you refer to satellite bars icon it works and signal is strong too, I get 7 mtrs accuracy from inside.
![]()
Holding for a while upper right corner on Volume page you can get developer menu like in 3xxx and have satellites coloured bars
some menus are empty ,but some work.
1) I still have it, do you have files hidden in your Windows perhaps?
2) Pois are shown normally like in Nuvi 3xxx series with its poi icon bar on the left. See pics in post n1.
3) Press and hold for some seconds here
this menu will appear:
and you'll get pedestrian mode

You have to navigate to get to the good.

Thanks for the answers Black Wolf saves me some time. There is one thing though the two apk's are different in size not by much but different and some files inside do not have the same CRC32? Is that correct? Just wanted to be working with the latest and greatest. Thanks
@ducktick I'm no expert but it sounds like the map images is not named correctly change to gmapprom.img NOT gmapsupp.img

It didn't disappear !!!
By pure coincindence, the .System folder is a "hidden" folder for Android (the dot in front of the name makes it "hidden").
When you connect your phone to your PC as an "external device" you cannot view any Android hidden files or folders (those with the dot in front).
You have to connect it as "external hard drive" (usb mass storage) to be able to view all Android hidden folders and files.
The coincidence is that the same folder name is used by Garmin in Nuvis, but this time is Garmin that has made this folder "hidden" and "protected" only in Windows !!!
The folder .System you use in Windows for StreetPilot is not "hidden" for Windows.
As soon as you copy this folder in your Android phone, Android recognizes it as "hidden" because of the dot in front of the name.
when i open gps or use gps streepilot close and run in background if turnoff gps mode it can run well

Hi chinnachot,
I've tested the apk from your link with the Garmin folder and maps put in extSdCard, but it did not work. The StreetPilot stuck on black screen after system initializing.
Could you please give a brief explanation how to install it (step by step)?
Thanks in advance
