    Default Maps not showing up

Hi there, I installed CNENT 2009 on my garmin nüvi200W (gmapsupp.img and gmapsupp.unl on sd card), followed the instructions by jetmouse and maps are not showing. I tried to enter both sd card and nüvi's unit ID as unit ID and both ways don't work. Now I read that if you update your Garmin via website, your unit becomes "fakeproof". Garmin supposely figured out a way to prevent illegal maps from being installed. Anybody heard if thats true...? If not whats my problem?

Appreciate any help or advice where to search for an answer...

    Thank you so much Catymag,

I don't understand why nobody mentions that on the torrent sites when they talk about pasting and saving in text editor...

Unfortunately navi doesn't show most european countries when I search for an address, like UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy... but if I enter an address in Spain and zoom out, all other country maps are there...?
