Default City Navigator 2009 NT not in registry after install

I have installed Garmin EU City Navigator 2009 NT on my PC using the prescribed method of using the updater package and unlocked the map using the KG.

All is well but when I try and run MapConverter inorder to be able to transfer the maps onto my Macbook it says that Mapconverter cannot find any installed map products.

The registry keys under Mapsource products are effectively empty.

Does anyone know how to write the correct entries to the registry?

    Thanks.

I have Garmin EU City Navigator 2009 NT installed and working.
Have a look at my registry section from Garmin :

    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
Remember to change the pad to to your garmin maps according to your settings !
Use the JetMouse KG v1.5 to unlock. The Garminunlocker does NOT work with this mapset !!

    Hope this helps.

Just change the path to your installation and it should work.

I have used mapsource to copy a region of Europe CN 2009 NT to my micro sd card on the Etrex Legend HCx. I have also copied a portion of an unlocked TOPO map which is also registered inside of Mapsource to the card. One overwrites the other.

On the card itself I have renamed the second one to gmapsup1.img but the it is never seen by the unit.

    Any ideas please?

If you have more than one map, the first is to be called gmapsup1.img and the second one gmapsup2.img
If one of them is called gmapsupp.img, only that one will show, both will not be recognised.

Thanks, It did not work for me. When I renamed them to gmapsup1.img and the second one gmapsup2.img no maps were recognised by the unit.
