    Hello all. Newbie here.

I have just followed the directions exactly as catymag detailed. The JM KG 1.5 with the checksum correction must be used with FID 800. I installed it on my Garmin 3790.

I can confirm that the CitiExplorer test routing in pedestrian mode in Manhattan works as it should.

Without a reliable Garmin Map in Japan and certainly as a foreigner lost in a small city a couple of months ago, I had to turn to Google Map on my Blackberry and it was the one thing that saved me lots of time and sign language communication.

I am reminded that I cannot say thank you here and so I will not say thank you to the wonderful people here. :Animated39:

    Hello!

Public transit - navigate using buses, tramway, metro and suburban rail systems with optional cityXplorer content.
You're right! I was puzzled by the absent of "powered by cityXplorer" indication. This menu item comes from CX.

Another question - Does CX cover only the city itself and not suburban areas? Because I asked it to route me with a public transport from the city 10 km away from Montreal to the downtown and I was suggested to go 10 km to the Montreal border and then take a train to the center of the city =)
    Yours faithfully,

    HI,

I have nuvi 3450 and had City Navigator North America NT 2013.10 in .system. If I would like to have CityXplorer North America 2013.10 (all the CityXplorers in one file), is this where I need to put in SD card.
    Sd card
    Map/Full_CXNA_2013.10.img, Full_CXNA_2013.10.unl, Full_CXNA_3d 2013.10.img
. Remove CNA 3D map from .System

Is that how it should be.

Another question. Since nuvi 3450 had a huge internal storage that can fit CXNA. Does the CXNA had to be in SD card? Will it works if I put it in an internal storage? example, nuvi 3450 root /Map/Full_CXNA_2013.10.img, Full_CXNA_2013.10.unl

    thx

just want to confirm that i create a "Map" folder in nuvi 3450 and place Full CXNA_2013.10.img & Full CXNA_2013.10.unl in the folder. Go into Setting -->Map and I did saw Full CXNA_2013.10. So i guess you don't need a SD Card if your nuvi had space for it.
