Hello everyone. My 2599 nuvi is bricked. Ive read through various posts on proceedures to try but nothing has worked. Im thinking its ready for the bin. I dont normally give up on things .
It started when a new map load was not fully installed. I tried another few times but always faied after about 50%. Eventually disconnected my nuvi, plugged back into computer but was no longer recognised by the computer. Tried to reset but all I got was a white screen. Tried several resets, but nothing. The nivi is stuck in boot loop. It says loading maps then goes to white screen. I cant get it to pre boot as Ive got all the fixing firmware and software ready to load. But since I cant get the computer or Garmin cure3 to recognise things Im stuck. Is there any other way of getting my computer to recognise the nuvi so as I can delete the problem file.
