Please explain how you setup your Etrex on Ozi Explorer as there should be no problem with downloading your .wp, .plt or any other Data from your unit as I setup a M8's one ages ago without any problems.
You can't see the device as an external drive per say the software just downloads from the device.
My M8 has the Legend and I still use my Yellow older unit and mine is RS232 interface.
