In OziExplorer you must setup the configuration in the program "file/configuration" ,select tab GPS set gps brand "Garmin", set Model Garmin HCX. Then you select the COM tab and set your USB port, Then SAVE.
If you have the right port set, you plug in your GPS "check the setup in your device in interface and set I/O for Garmin" then in Ozi select Garmin in top bar near help, and you will see download trk/wpt/routes etc, and the software will do the rest and show them on the map "if loaded of your area" or on a blank screen, then go File/save to file/ save your Wpt/tracks etc
