You need to be clearer. Already done what? Connected the GVN53 to PC but it's not seen by WebUpdater? What do you mean by 'still cannot detect usb'? I know it's not detected in preboot, but you said previously that you have 'mass storage'. So do you have Mass Storage Mode via USB? If you created a Garmin folder on the unit you must have MSM. Put an empty GarminDevice.xml file inside the Garmin folder and try again with WebUpdater. Extract this file directly into the Garmin folder: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Don't put the RAR file in the folder. Extract it to there with WinRAR, WinZip, 7-zip, Universal Extractor or similar program.
