Virgin or married copy ?

The Virgin!
The married one theoretically would work on another car if downloaded from the MB download manager through the VIN Number. But not tested!

That's why I say do not use the MD download manager until you're sure there's a map upgrade. At that point reset the backup and re-enable the card in the car and then try to upgrade in the MB download manager.

Theoretically MB Download Manager must register the activation date of the card, if we have reset and never tried the upgrade in principle will be considered within 60 days.

PS - I have upgrade V5 software to v6 then to 6.1 then back to v6 and now to v8 ... the maps unfortunately got in V5 because I still had thought of the subject and I used MB download Manager several times before there is a New version of maps and possibly no map update in 60 days.

Hello can you explain step by step tihs process. Mine is v6.1 nearly for a year and dont show any update (Map or fw) I copied sd contents before activation.
