There are free FM traffic services in Europe in places, but there's also premium paid services available which should be better than the free FM.
There is a chance that GTM60 & 70 can run the same firmware, or perhaps it's that GTM60 can support DAB as well as HD Radio transmissions. I've found references to both HD Radio and DAB in GTM60 fw. Might be worth checking with Garmin UK if it's possible to add the sub to your 60 or at least if they'll refund you if they don't know in advance but it subsequently proves not to work. Phone them and kiss goodbye to a kitten.
