So to convert the img file is NT version, which is causing coverage contour lines and roads causes it? You can not convert the NT img files?

It's not NT format that causes the problems. With non-NT, the situation would be the same.
The main reason of the conflict is the Map Series parameter in the map header. The converter sets it to a nonstandard value 36 (the same as in GB Discoverer maps and some other).
I can add one more parameter to force the converter not to use this nonstandard value, and create the maps with the Map Series = 24 (default for maps made with Mapsource Product Creator). But in this case, the map levels will be displayed at different zooms depending on the detail level setting in the GPS.
I've just noticed that the relief lines in one of the maps in my GPS are displayed above the raster.
Please check these screenshots from my device:

The parameters of this map are as follows:As you can see there's nothing special here.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
In other maps, the contour lines and POIs are displayed too. But the area features (such as roads) are hidden.
wanglody, could you please post here the detailed info for your vector map?
Attractions and street names can be displayed, contour lines and roads alone it can not be displayed.
I am using a GARMIN official contour map produced in Taiwan, using GMapTool unlock message is as follows:

Optional MapSeries and DrawOrder parameters are added to the converter. They can be used in the same way as MapId parameter:
jnx2img input.jnx output.jnx "MapSeries=14"
jnx2img input.jnx output.jnx "DrawOrder=40"
If the parameters are not specified, MapSeries would be set to 36, and DrawOrder to 24.
The archive is available from the same link in the first post.
Really thank you for this problem to pay, I do change DRAWORDER varying parameters , but still can not display the road .
Also made of different vector map in Montana650t tested and found jnx2img there are a few tips :
1 - Use GARMIN official produced NT version 20 meters
Contour map , no matter how parameters change , or only show attractions, road names, while the contour lines and roads are covered by the same can not be displayed
2 - If you use GARMIN official produced without contours NT version of the map , coupled with cGPSmapper produced 10 m contour line , if not change the parameters , in addition to display spots, road names , but also show contour lines, but the road can not be displayed or be covered .

3 - If the GARMIN official produced without using contour NT version of the map , and with the MPC do OF version with contour map share (gmapdem.img), in addition to display spots, road names , but also show contour lines , but the road is still to be covered can not be displayed on the screen of the terrain was gone.

In addition, I do use MPCv8.3 DEM topographic maps (gmapdem.img), found that NT version and edition of the difference OF question is as follows:
1 - MPC do I use an NT version with 20 m contour DEM topographic maps (gmapdem.img), because the check "Create Nt Product", to make the results of vector topographic maps (gmapdem.img), with GARMIN official contour map produced without sharing will cover all of the maps are on the map of attractions, street names , road .. and so can not be displayed , only the contours and topography , and to set their own interest only. As shown
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
2 - I re-do a version with 20 m OF contour DEM topographic maps (gmapdem.img), other settings are the same parameters , do not select "Create Nt Product", produced with free GARMIN official contour map sharing results attractions, street names , road .. etc. can be displayed properly.
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
please can you write one guide to doing this conversione between the two format?
MOD note: Please read message in your profile
wanglody,
Thanks for such a comprehensive testing!
So, your tests have shown that NT and non-NT maps in fact behaves differently. That's really strange.
I will check if non-NT raster maps work correctly with the area features of other maps, and post the results as soon as I get to my GPS.
