Garmin Canada ibycus topo map versions up to 4.0

They are created by Dale Atkin in Calgary. He's a full-time student. He's using the latest government databases for most of his data so the actual topographic data and some of the road data (depending on province) is much more up to date than Topo Canada. If you have ever used 1:50,000 federal or provincial topographic maps you'll be immediately familiar with what you see in these maps.
The data for these maps was sourced from the US Census Bureau's "TIGER" database (2007 First Edition). The detail is comparable (or in some cases greater than) the commercial Garmin maps

To use these maps, all you need to do is download them, and run the installer. They will then appear in Mapsource just like any of the commercial Garmin Maps (You can select them from the dropdown list in the top left hand corner).

I have a problem: I tryed to download the 4 files 3 times but everytime the file n. 3 is damaged and has a smaller dimension:

The underlying topo data comes from the Geogratis Website (The CanVec dataset) (© Department of Natural Resources Canada. All rights reserved). This is essentially the data you get on the government issue 1:50,000 topo maps.

Use the Garmin MapManager and install the .gmapi file.

Author's note posted on 15 march (groundspeak .com)
This version includes new roads for much of the country (including Quebec, which hadn't been updated since the maps came up), as well as more areas with road names.
Also there is a new version of the underlying dataset for the topo data.
Finally included are what I *hope* are all of the more minor roads that disappeared between version 2.1 and 3.0. These are included as a transparent overlay that can be added to the maps (or any map for that matter).

I am trying to download the Ibycus Topo maps version 3.3 or 4 but my torrents are continually searching but finding no seeders. Is there anywhere else I can download or buy the DVD's.

tproveau here. I was using the latest Ares that supports torrents but was not working apparently. I switched to utorrent and downloading at 600+ kB/s now! Thanks for reading this post.
