    On the recent two 'MOD' versions, traffic does not show on the map unless a route is set first. It did previously, am I missing something?

    I uninstalled the app using SDMaid and started afresh and now everything is working 100%. Not sure what went wrong, or if I installed the wrong version, but now menues all checked and setup to my liking with everything working.
    Sorry for the false alarm and the authors efforts are much appreciated.

    While I am 100% happy, at my advanced age, to use maps on the phone I am certainly tempted to but a NAV3 device to have a play.

    @Steve Zodiac:

    In the free view of the map, traffic and traffic events are intentionally disabled in order to achieve mobile data savings and the speed of the application.

    @david0vich

    For me is important to seeing traffic in to the free view of the map, and I am not interesting to save mobile data. But in the last moded version 558 - arm64-v8a, for me the traffic is not working at all.

    For me works...but I will check
    Sometimes it can also depend on the availability of the TT server

    Thanks for the reply.

    Before the 'MOD' versions though, traffic was shown without a route being set which was quite useful.

    Everything seems to be working fine for me on Moto g5 plus with Android 8
    Traffic shows up on route planning in France.
    Many thanks to the OP.

    @saomaohao

    Yes, traffic shows on the map here in the UK - but only after a route is set.

    Now it is working, I think they had a problem with the server.
