Thread: More problems for the new TomtomGO

I haven't tried this version yet but if a google account is necessary for it to run properly then I will have to give it a miss. I have no google account and want no google account as I find google to be a pain in the butt on a phone..far to intrusive and controlling with unwanted updates etc and I am not sure which is worse, apple or google.. Maybe it's my age, but if a major change comes I may have to go back to v1.4 on an old galaxy S5.

You are more than right about that, they are just datagrabbers and yes, maybe it's the age, I'm older too.
Maybe older and wiser ?
But strange enough it looks like younger people don't care ?
